Temporary Benefits Data Entry Specialist

Are you looking to expand your HR Benefits knowledge? The Benefits Data Entry Specialist will allow you to expand your excel knowledge,and will allow you to gain knowledge in all areas of HR as well as be a part of a great community.

Job Summary

We are looking for a benefits data entry specialist to transfer data from paper formats into computer files in our HRIS system using keyboards and scanners. Strong excel experience is needed for creating spreadsheets with large numbers and moderate complex formulas.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform all data entry related tasks
• Compile, sort and verify data to be entered
• Update data in appropriate databases in accurate and timely manner
• Process benefit election notices and prepare benefit enrollments
• Prepare monthly benefit reconciliation for auditing
• Process and resolve data inquiries through research and review
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
• Maintain accurate data files

Minimum Requirements

• 2 + years data entry experience
• Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office and Excel
• Excellent bookkeeping and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• High levels of concentration
• Good written and communication skills
• Monday- Friday Flexible Schedule 20 hours a week, Schedule needs to be consistent.
