Project Manager of the Wellness Enterprise

Purpose for the Position: To provide administrative management support for various projects within the Wellness Enterprise

Project Manager ( Time Position): The 0.75 position of Project Manager for the Wellness Enterprise (PM) works closely with the Executive Dean of the Wellness Enterprise (ED) to provide management of various projects within the Wellness Enterprise. The Wellness Enterprise is the home of all behavioral and health science academic programs at George Fox University. As a growing entity at the University, the Wellness Enterprise is tasked with significant program development, program growth, and program alignment. The effective PM will work closely with the ED to ensure successful completion of these tasks through management of various projects. The PM will be responsible for communication with external stakeholders, internal leaders and university offices. The PM will compile, analyze, and disseminate data related to assigned projects. The PM will also provide consistent alignment and organization of personnel and resources for task completion.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provide structure and workflow to move projects from inception to completion
2. Effective management of resources (e.g., personnel, budget, information, time) to ensure project completion
3. Demonstrate research skills: analyze, evaluate and explain information/data from varied higher education resources, both primary and secondary research sources.
4. Utilize data management/analysis skills with project management software
5. Provide relevant market analysis
6. Effectively communicate the status of projects to the Executive Dean and other university stakeholders.
7. Demonstrates ability to anticipate hindrances/obstacles to workflow and implement resolution strategies.
8. Communicate with internal/external stakeholders status of projects
9. Maintain productive relationships with stakeholders
10. By actions, words and lifestyle, demonstrate a Christ-like presence in the GFU community.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both groups and individuals.
2. Flexibility and adaptability in order to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
3. High level of organization with the ability to be innovative and seek out new efficiencies for work systems.
4. Positive and professional attitude.
5. Strong teamwork orientation.
6. Capable of working independently.
7. Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of project management experience. Certification in Project Management preferred.
8. Ability to communicate effectively in English, including face-to-face, on telephone, in writing; and ability to understand and follow instructions.
