Director of Strategic Partnerships

Position Purpose:

Engagement with the business community is critical to the success of George Fox Connect, which seeks to solve problems for companies and institutions who are looking to upskill or improve their associates' education. This position directs the efforts of George Fox Connect with industry, school districts, and non-profit organizations through consultative sales. It supports the George Fox Digital enterprise by fostering agreements that serve the best interests of lifelong learners.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify and drive key partner relationships that create value for GFC and our business and community ecosystem
• Build new shared success partnership models to accelerate GFC's key business initiatives
• Maintain awareness of the partner's top strategic initiatives and existing projects in order to source and develop new business opportunities
• Work closely with GFC and GFD product leaders to develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and identify prospective partners who will enable GFC/GFD to address user needs, solve industry problems, and accelerate growth
• Assess partner needs and scope out commercial terms that provide value for all parties
• Lead quarterly business reviews with partners to ensure the value GFC/GFD is providing is understood and aligns with top strategic initiatives
• Teach an optional online course load of up to 9 credits per year, decided in consultation with the Associate Dean

Requirements:

• Must possess a master's degree; terminal degree preferred.
• Must have a general understanding of business and strategic partnership development.
• Must possess exemplary communication skills, strong project management capabilities, and a knack for developing and maintaining extensive external relationships.
• Must possess a keen understanding of both andragogy and pedagogy.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management software a plus.

• Competitive marketplace analysis (alongside Business Development team)
