Director of K-12 Initiatives

Position Purpose:

George Fox University needs to maintain a clear pipeline between the local high school community and the university. While the university has maintained many efforts across the Enterprises, this position coordinates and manages all K-12 efforts in greater service to enrollment and university positioning.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify and drive key K-12 relationships that create value for the university
• Be the university lead for aligning existing K-12 initiatives with future strategy for the university.
• Maintain awareness of key opportunities at K-12 partner institutions to drive value (e.g. - collaborative grant offerings).
• Coordinate the Dual Enrollment program at George Fox, ensuring alignment between key faculty members in all Enterprises and K-12 teachers.
• Work with the Associate Dean to plan and execute K-12 content production to be sold via subscription to K-12 schools.
• Work with Chief Strategy Officer on the development of the GFU Prep Model

Requirements:

Must possess a bachelor's degree; master's degree preferred.

Must have a general understanding of K-12 education system

Must possess exemplary communication skills, strong project management capabilities, and a knack for developing and maintaining external school relationships.

Must demonstrate some skill at building internal relationships to assist with the ongoing development of content and materials.

Processes:

List processes this position will be personally responsible for (either partially or entirely)

Maintains all Dual Enrollment contracts with key K-12 partners in Oregon and Southwest Washington (occasionally seeking out new relationships).

Has principal responsibility for the creation of new digital content for K-12 use.
