Data Manager

Job Purpose

The person in this role is responsible to set up and maintain system infrastructure so that prospective student data is processed in the system in automated ways to save time and reduce human error. This requires complex system understanding and extreme attention to detail. This person may also oversee various data entry tasks and manages student employees and/or temp data entry staff. Their "customer" is the Admissions Recruiters. They ensure that Admissions processes run efficiently and accurately for recruiter use. They also support recruiters in making sure data reporting and communication sequences are run smoothly. This person must always seek more efficient ways to manage our data, communication sequences, and workflow processes and how we are able to report on that data in meaningful ways.

This position is a key player in ensuring that admissions counselors are able to spend more time building relationships with prospective students so they can experience the Be Known promise. They also ensure accurate data so that university leadership can make discerning strategic decisions, such as forecasting future budget, how to spend future marketing dollars, etc.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Improve Processes - Initiate and execute on ideas to improve data process and maximize efficiency.
  • Lead - Hire, train, and manage temp and/or student employee(s) to support data processing tasks
  • Document - Oversee and coordinate documentation of business processes and workflow
  • External Teamwork - act as liaison with recruiting teams, Marcom, IT, vendors, and others as needed
  • Internal Teamwork - Collaborate with other admissions team members to ensure a seamless student experience
  • Customer Service - Provide training, documentation, and support

Associated Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and maintain system infrastructure to ensure accurate data
  • Assertively find and fill voids where needed
  • Ensure good data validation processes are in order
  • Support multi-system integration

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-4 years of experience is required
  • Full Time Monday Friday 8am-5pm
