Data Analyst

Your Purpose

In this position, you will be responsible for developing reporting infrastructure to efficiently meet the data demands of government agencies, third-party surveyors, accrediting bodies, and internal stakeholders. You will develop quality controlled, low-overhead, data processes that reduce output variations across time periods and

between reports utilizing the same conceptual inputs. This work will require collaboration across business units ranging from highly customer-facing to highly technically-oriented.

What you will do each day:

• Identify and prioritize reporting requirements, determining the necessary concepts and definitions, dependent data elements, and their sources
• Utilize enterprise approved tools to develop reproducible data-flows that ultimately fulfill reporting requirements
• Implement testing and monitor quality of developed data-flows and reporting outputs, performing upgrades as identified and maintenance as required
• Work with multiple customers to analyze and visualize complex data in simple and accurate ways
• Support other IT-related or program management support as needed such as preparing presentations, conducting research, testing new technologies, providing guidance on logical modeling, etc
• Assist in the application of advanced methods of predictive modeling
• Educate customers on the use and expected results of advanced analytics

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree
• Report building and analytics experience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver value-adding data-products. Higher Education experience, particularly in tandem with experience within some other domain, a bonus.
• Experience reading and writing advanced SQL queries and familiarity with the Python programming language
• Past experience utilizing a "systems"/holistic approach to identify and realize both technical and business opportunities
• Able to effectively communicate with all departments and levels of associates through both verbal and written methods
• Logic to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• Ability to develop and implement strategies that support objectives
• Passionate about dispassionate, agenda free, evaluation of evidence to aid decision making
• A tenacious, iterative-mentality that drives continuous improvement and limits wasted effort
• A consistent and rigorous approach brought to daily activities and assigned priorities
