Computer Support Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy and track all Windows and macOS computers.
• Diagnose and repair software/hardware related problems on Windows and macOS computers.
• Manage and update computer builds and images.
• Install software and hardware on faculty, staff and lab computers.
• Assist customers with technology issues on the phone, at Service Desk or at their work location.
• Work with vendors for computer repairs.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows, macOS and iOS hardware and software systems.
• Demonstrated experience with modern deployment and configuration tools for doing large-scale machine deployments.
• Demonstrated experience working with and configuring networks, servers and printers. 4. Familiarity with application and desktop virtualization. Experience with AWS AppStream a plus.
• Manual dexterity needed to handle very small parts and tools. 6. Attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and adhere to standardized processes.
