Clinical Coordinator
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and maintain all clinical education site materials (300+ sites) including forms, site
reviews and execution of the student affiliation agreements and addendums. - Maintain newly developed Google Site and tools necessary for the student's clinical internships.
- Coordinate yearly mailing, forms and individual requests for clinical commitments and individual
requests. - Create and maintain Google forms such as the automated email confirmation for over 500+sites
annual clinical commitments. - Collect, analyze and report clinical assessment survey data after each rotation to our
stakeholder inside and outside the university which includes, faculty, students and clinical site
progress to maintain CAPTE accreditation status. - Create a bi-weekly report to ensure state and university requirement/policies are adhered to
each clinical internship, which include student background checks, drug screens, student
vaccination records and letters of good standing. - Maintain training sessions and tools to engage students effectively for their clinical education.
- Maintain revisions to syllabi, Clinical Education Handbook, and policies.
- Manage and/or support departmental events: student orientation, continuing education
conferences, Research Symposium, Health and Wellness Week, Vaccination Clinic with outside
vendors, on-site Community Physical Therapy Clinic, fundraising events for student service trips
and community volunteers. - Assists Program Director, Director of Clinical Education, and Assistant Director of Clinical
Education with various seasonal projects. - Coordinate course schedule and changes with the registrar, faculty and students.
- Monitor departmental and restricted budget accounts and maintain budgets and distributions
for grants. - Oversee annual inventory for the department.
- Hire, train and manage graduate student employees and approve timesheets.
- By actions, words and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual
contact or in a formal supervisory role. - Field informational questions and assist with administration duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational skills
- Work effectively with many interruptions
- Innovative thinker with the ability to research, create efficient processes and analytical tools
that provide input with data results - Communicate clearly and timely with the team to ensure deadlines are articulated and achieved
while maintaining mutual respect and trust - Compassionate person that seeks to understand the customers' needs and how to best serve,
coach and mentor the people to do their best work - Advanced skills in Google applications including, sheets, docs forms and sites (pivot tables, data
validation tables, VLOOKUP functions, conditional formatting, data triggers) - Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Publisher (mail merges and pivot tables)
- Be able to update websites would be a plus
- 2-5 years experience in the same type of skill set.
