Administrative Assistant - Oregon Writing Project

 Job Purpose

This position offers support to the director of OWPC, including maintaining OWPC budgets, newsletter, website, communication, and coordination details for OWPC events.

OWPC functions in a unique "third space" between the university and public/private P-16 education systems to provide ongoing professional development for teachers. This position offers the unique ability to fulfill the university's Be Known promise for learners who are not seeking a degree.

Essential Responsibilities

• Serve as administrative support for the director in a multitude of tasks
• Maintain OWPC budgets
• Communicate effectively with teachers and university personnel
• Maintain social media, website, and marketing presence for the site
• Effectively coordinate across university departments for events

Minimum Qualifications

• Two or more years of University/Associates Degree required.
• 1-2 years' experience required
• Part Time, Monday-Friday 10 hours a week
