Job Impact

The ARC Coordinator contributes to the academic preparation of students by managing the learning center, training and supervising student consultants for individual academic meetings, and meeting individually with high-risk students.

Job Purpose

The ARC Coordinator will provide direct supervision of ARC staff, coordinate staff schedules, manage the ARC space, and promote ARC services.

Essential Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training of ARC staff.
• Manage ARC staff scheduling and lead weekly training
• Manage online scheduling and reporting system, assist students with scheduling
• Meet individually with high-risk students
• Collaborate with faculty on assigned ARC visits, other activities
• Market ARC services to students and faculty

Associated Responsibilities

• Oversight of Open Study Table
• Manage ARC website
• Coordinate ARC workshops

Assigned Processes

• Hiring of student staff
• Management of TutorTrac online scheduling and reporting system

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced Degree
• 1-2 years of experience required
• Part time position, Monday- Friday 1pm-4pm
• Expertise working with diverse students and employees
